2nd time Kevin's been in this blog.
Kid's photogenic.
Too bad he's a crier, too.
This is on the way to the kimchi museum.

coffee shop

6.22.08

Spending a lot of time in coffee shops lately
studying korean with koreans.
There certainly are some killer, quaint places here.
This one has a little area that's perched above the rest of the place
and the people outside.
Kinda makes you feel mighty like a cat on a fridge.

N Korea vs South Korea.
(Kim Jong Il not in attendance)
I've seen a football match in America,
but certainly this was better (despite the 0-0 tie).

Love and Sex

Xs clearly indicate that Johnny no longer loves sex or Jen.
This is some cool cat spray painted on a wall.
Glad to see one of the cooler areas in Seoul thinks Bush is worthless, too.

Acoustic Guitar

6.18.08

A new acoustic bass is pleasant for park playings.
It's louder, too, and better than the one Gibson gave me a few years back.

Can't put horizontal and vertical photos together on this website.
Seems to be a visual catastrophe.

Some Homes Look Different

God bless the wide-angle lens and its ability to get this whole building in one shot.
Keep in mind, different people probably live on each floor. This isn't really "one" home...

On the Tops of Homes

6.15.08

Rooftops in Seoul are certainly a pleasant way to spend mild weathered Saturdays. It's amazing how traffic noise turns to a pleasant murmur at a greater height. We ate flaming cheetos with chopsticks so as not to sully our hands with that ever-soiling read gunk they're made of, and took in a dinner of galbi at an eatery around the corner. Cheers to a good day...

kc

ps - unfortunately, i got the camera out at the end of the meal, so this is what it looks like when you're finished eating galbi (barbecued meat).
